Idea #6 Think Leonard de Vinci with Simplification is ultimate sophistication

first, I would like to wish you a happy new year, with success & love, and sure with very good #UX.

Today I want to speak about Léonard de Vinci. Not about his creation which are very awesome.

I want to speak about "Simplicity"

The Story

Today I wanted to change the name of a #twitter account, oh no not the username, the name...hmm I think I lost 50% of my followers...you see it's complicate ...

ok the name is the name attached #twitter account, and the username is the name your followers can use to quote you in a post...not I am more obvious...as picture is worth a thousand words...

And to change my name I have to go on...hmmm no to change my UserName I have a to go on "Settings", by clicking on my photo on the right...not so bad ;-)

No, not my photo on the left you don't have the same behavior, even if it's the same photo...I said not so bad, I didn't say Perfect ;-)

After that I can see my Username in the first input area...

Good !!! Easy !!

And like as Georges Clooney or Jean Dujardin could say "What else ?"

I ask you ! Where is my Name, to change it... hmmm ??

The problem

The problem is that to change the name, the way is completely different, and I had a very #BadUX.

So fasten your seatbelts and let's get going !

You have to click first on your name, or your photo on left this time...

Call a hide "Home" page....Click on name

And an new page will appear with a new button...."Edit profil" on the right of the page

And now you click on "Edit profile"...

Whaou you can change your Name !!! trust me !!

You can also access this page by clicking on your photo on the right, and "View Profile" menu, and also "Edit profile" so 3 clicks !!

And you know what it's the funniest, here you cannot change your UserName....Trust me again...

So questions are :

- Why I can not just change my name on Settings page ?

or

- Why I can not change my Username on "Edit" page ?

- How I can know I have to click on my photo or name on left to change the username ?

My point of view

- Add "Edit" button in "Home page" to avoid 3 click !!

-Allow to change User name in "Edit profile" page...

and

not necessary to keep username change in Settings page, nonetheless if you keep, give the possibility to change the Name...

Today I just want speak about "Context"... about "Systemic analysis" The Story When I drive my car I have the same car to do different type of trips. Today I just want speak about "Emotion" The Story I arrive on one of my favorite #SocialNetwork @LinkedIn and I was really surprised to have a so #BadUx because of a lack of emotion.. First I arrive on my screen with no more post... Where are the posts The Problem The problem is we make a lot of interface just as Digital Tool. We often forgot the smartphone, this digital tool is like a friend.
